Grateful for 4 unforgettable years VfB Stuttgart🙏💪🏆
After four outstanding years, my journey with VfB Stuttgart 1893 has come to an end.
And looking back, it feels nothing short of remarkable.
When I joined VfB in January 2022, the club was facing one of the most challenging periods in its recent history – sportingly, economically, and culturally. What followed were intense months and years of hard work, tough decisions, bold moves and, most importantly, a team that believed in a shared idea of what this club could become again.
Together, we …
• more than doubled our commercial revenues
• tripled our merchandising business
• transformed the stadium into one of the most modern arenas in Europe
• launched the Porsche Tunnel Club as a global hospitality benchmark
• welcomed Porsche AG and JAKO AG as new shareholders, a new naming right partner of our stadium such as two main sponsors
• renewed and sharpened the VfB Stuttgart brand, including welcoming back the outstanding former players of the club as legends and brand ambassadors
• built a clear digital and internationalization strategy
• and helped turn VfB from a relegation candidate into a German DFB Cup winner, UEFA Champions League participant and Bundesliga top team
But beyond all KPIs, transformations and milestones, what will stay with me is something else: the spirit of this club and the people behind it.
The energy, the honesty, the ambition, the unity we developed together – that is what made these years so special for me. I am deeply grateful for every conversation, every debate, every project, every setback and every success we shared.
To all colleagues, partners, players, staff and supporters: Thank you for your trust and for the journey we went together.
The club is in a strong position, with a clear strategy, outstanding leadership, an exceptional coach, and a team – on and off the pitch – that continues to push this badge forward with courage and conviction.
For the next few weeks, I will take time off to be with my family, recharge and reflect.
And in January, I will start a new chapter as a board member and Chief of Marketing & Sales at FC Bayern München.
It was not an easy decision to leave my home club Stuttgart, but sometimes one call and following open conversations change everything. Bayern is a different world – with a unique global energy & ambition, scale and fascination – and I am ready to contribute with full focus, commitment and passion.
I leave Stuttgart proud of what we achieved together, thankful for the people I met, and excited for what lies ahead.
See you soon
(and always with a red-and-white heartbeat. ❤️🤍)

Das Halbfinale findet dann einfach in Pisa statt.
Was heißt da 30 Prozent?
